TVS to launch male specific scooter on 16th September
It is a time of market when the sales of car manufacturers are grim and the two-wheeler market is thriving like moss on wet land, on the scooter segment is gaining numbers like anything! Taking advantage of the situation, TVS is all set to launch all new automatic scooter which might be known as Jupiter. The new scooter has already been captured on test. The scooter might get power from 125cc and will be placed above Wego, which is currently the flagship scooter from the TVS stable in the market. The bigger looking TVS Jupiter will be targeted towards the male fraternity of the society just like the Hero Maestro and Yamaha Ray Z.
TVS Jupiter will carry forward features like telescopic forks, front disc brakes from the Wego. From the spy images, we can also make out the rear fuel filler. It is still uncertain about the engine of the Jupiter, it might also carry the same 110cc engine from the Wego. The scooter caught during testing had the bigger 12-inch alloy wheels, which will be a welcome change in the scooter market. The scooter should carry a price tag of around Rs. 50,000.
