Honda's new design concept 'EXCITING H DESIGN'



Honda, the Japanese auto maker has announced a new design concept, "EXCITING H DESIGN!!!," that will be applied to all Honda vehicles globally to promote a more unique character and stronger presence around the world.

The top 30 candidates have been nominated by the jury for the Car of the Year 2014 award. By the mid-December, the jury will reveal seven shortlisted vehicles out of 30, and the winner will be announced on March 3, 2014 on the eve of the Geneva Motor Show.

                                 

The jury bench, consisting of 58 members representing 22 European countries, has shortlisted the 30 contenders for the 2014 Car of the Year award. The 30 vehicles are new models, which are already on sale or will hit the market by the end of the year in at least five European countries. Another condition for these cars to remain in competition is that these cars should have a minimum of 5,000 units for foreseeable annual sales. Back in March, the Jury had selected the Volkswagen Golf VII as Car of the Year 2013.

Bentley Continental GT V8 S makes its debut at Frankfurt


The 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show has kickstarted, and globally renowned car manufacturers have revealed their new vehicles. Bentley, the ultra luxury carmaker unveiled the new Continental GT V8 S at the event. The luxury car is available in both coupe and convertible forms, and features an uprated version of Bentley's twin-turbo, 4.0-litre engine that now develops 521bhp and 680Nm of top torque together with suspension modifications and new exterior and interior features. The company also unveiled the flagship Mulsanne and the all-new four door sedan Flying Spur.
